The reserves of magnesite are 129 million tons, of which industrial reserves are 84.645 million tons. In 1967, the 220th team of Angang Steel Geological Exploration Company conducted detailed exploration of the Jinjiapuzi ore section. The input workload was 1:1 000 geological mapping 1.84 km2, trench 4 4 983 m3, shallow well 100 m, drilling 13 871.5 m. The proven magnesite reserves are 585 million tons, of which the industrial reserves are 270 million tons. The “Geological Exploration Summary Report of Jinjiapuzizi Magnesite Deposit in Haicheng County, Liaoning Province” was submitted. In 1969, supplementary exploration was carried out on the upper ore body of the Xiafang body section. In 1983, supplementary exploration was carried out between the 0th line and the 240th line of the Xiafang body section. In 1954, drilling was the main means to the Haicheng magnesite belt. The Baozi, Jinjiapuzi and Xiafangzi sections have carried out more comprehensive supplementary exploration work. Through these supplementary explorations, a total of 861 million tons of magnesite were obtained, of which the industrial reserves were 318 million tons.
